As a photographer, I tend to be very detail oriented with everything I do. However, living in a modern age you get used to tuning out the everyday unique sounds around you - be it the tinging from a cast iron radiator or the clicking of a turn signal in your car. The everyday hustle 'n bustle of life sometimes makes one forget what the simpler days of manual and mechanical gear were like.
The hilarious guys at DigitalRev released this awesome video a few weeks ago titled "Most Satisfying Photography Moments". The vid consists of behind-the-scenes type footage showcasing the sights and sounds of various cameras - from older manual film cameras to modern day DSLRs. It's times like these that I like to bust out one of my vintage film cameras (especially my Canon AE-1 Program) and burn a roll of film! There's a simple beauty and much slower process when shooting film, one that is almost zen-like. Turn up your speakers and get lost in the moment - enjoy!
